A forever learner.

I have a variety of interests, and the only thing that I’m really good at is probably going to school. Do I ace my classes, not always, but I have learned plenty of things – one major thing is seeking additional help in hard sciences.

I achieved my Biochemistry, B.S., from UCLA and did a bulk of research for 5 years at Dr. Anna N. Taylor’s Neuroendocrinology lab at UCLA.  There, we studied the effects of alcohol and its relationship with traumatic injury (in general) plus other things such as the differences in alcohol effects in males and females. Through a random series of event, I ended up doing research at Stanford, studying inter/intra-chromosomal interactions. It’s quite awesome!

Upon graduation, I taught at a private tutoring school for about 1 year, working with high school and middle school kids. The subjects I taught were science and math, both Advance Placement and non-AP courses. There, I realized, just like me, these science-kids needed a lot of additional help aside from their teacher’s lectures, i.e. study guides.

I worked as a private tutor and a preschool teacher when I relocated to San Jose. After a year, I discovered that the private school systems I have been involved with were not on par to my standards and gave up on private schools all together! Anyway, I still like to share my knowledge and provide free assistance to all, since the smarter the people are, the better our world will be!

Hence, the birthing of this site.
